Auto Mechanic Epic Fail! Truck falls off the lift!

i'm a sophomore in high school currently and have started to think about my future....iv'e narrowed my choices down to either a glass blower or an auto meachanic
what are the pros and cons of each career?
which one pays more?
and what education would i need for both of these careers?

I don't know a lot about a glass blower, but my brother works in a car shop. It depends on what you want to do with cars really. Right now all he has is a high school diploma, but all he does is oil changes, change and balance tires. He's the general manager of his store and I'm guessing with his more than 40 hour week he makes around $40,000.
That's a dead end job. If you want to go somewhere as an auto mechanic, get a degree. Not only will you get paid more, but you'll have a lot more possibilities in the auto industry.
As far as the glass blower, he's an artist. If you go for that career (I'm guessing) you won't make much money. That's why if you go after that career you have to be sure that you love it. I've seen glass blowers just fall in love with their work, winning competitions and making miraculous pieces of art. I'm really not sure what education you need for it.
