Jib Crane - A Versatile Industrial Tool To Save You Time and Money
Some Jib Cranes are called 'portable' for the simple fact that they can be moved from location to location with the help of a forklift. That is an interesting analogy.
Especially when you remember that there are Phillips and Flat blade screw drivers. They also come in a wide variety of sizes, for jobs as small as watches and glasses to as big as trains and cargo ships.
Modern English has more words than any other language. If there is not a word for something it is imported or created.
Much like the tip sizes and shapes of the screwdriver there are areas of expertise with specialized vocabularies and certain ways of sentence structure. Often others, even speaking the same language, may not understand. Accents, dialects and jargon are analogous to different screwdriver tips.
An example can be seen with people speaking about high tech components. Native speaker or not, the words used to describe the processes, problems, and functions are not always found in common use. This specialized vocabulary allows them to exchange information faster and more efficiently. However, no matter how good they are exchanging information about a product they may be lost.
Someone talking about particle physics or philosophy or esoteric transitioning sentence structure, or raising their kids uses a certain set of tools to do so. They don't always work so well all the time.
