How do you remove an input jack from a printed circuit board on a Fender Deluxe 85 solid state guitar amp?
I have a broken input jack on my 1987 Fender Deluxe 85 solid state guitar amp. I have removed the printed circuit board and chassis from the cabinet. I can see the input jack on the circuit board. Do you just pull it up and out? I've tried this with a pair of needle nose pliers and it seems like it is in there really firm. I don't want to break something. How do you get it out?
Well, sounds like ya need help and don't wan't to pay a real electronic technician,Maybe ya Can't not my call..Go to radio shack buy a soldering iron and a desoldering pump or braid use that to remove it , then simply have the exact dimensions of PCB layout and order a replacement from Mouserelectronics.com, or save a bunch of money and talk to a local technician , he will be real , show him this printed response and you will be O.K.,quick in @ out.
