Basic contents of the electrician's tool kit
No electrician can carry out a full day of jobs without the correct tools. Nut Drivers. These are also known as socket sets, they look similar to a screwdriver, but are used for fastening nuts and bolts, providing you with the increased torque to do so. A set of nut drivers will include the main driver, accompanied by a range of sizes of interchangeable sockets, making them useful and space saving.
Multimeter. A multimeter is a hand-held device that's used to test for electrical problems and is a very helpful gadget in an electrician's tool kit. This measuring device combines several functions in one; measuring current, voltage and resistance to a high degree of accuracy.
Measuring Tape. Simple, but effective. You will be surprised how much this small piece of equipment comes in handy on every job. Do not sell yourself short (literally) - buy a tape that is over 25 feet.
Fishing Tool. A plastic or metal case houses a flexible, narrow coil that finds and catches cable through small holes made in a wall. This way you will not have to take down areas of the wall to wire a room.
Power Tools. Commonly required power tools found in an electrician's arsenal are saws and drills. Lower voltage drills are favoured for easier jobs where additional torque isn't required, such as light fastening switches and plugs etc. The larger hammer drills are needed on jobs when thick surfaces need to be penetrated, for feeding cables through brick walls for instance.

What is the overall best first tool kit to purchase for minimum repairs on bicycles and mopeds.?
I do not have my own set of tools and would like to purchase a kit that includes the basics, but want them to last so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I will be using them mostly on my bicycle and mopeds so I do not need anything extravagant. Like I said I want them to last and I am a beginner, however price is not an issue. Thanks!
a basic set of sockets and wrenches from Craftsman should work for you. not too expensive, and will cover most needed repairs.
